I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the grant that Path to Greatness provided First Generation College Bound for college visitations. As a result, students from Central and Fairmont Heights High Schools were exposed to Coppin State University by attending the Spring Open House. The students were able to participate in a college tour, lunch, and a special presentation just for our group.

One student was afforded the opportunity to visit his dream school, Middlebury College, where he is now attending with more than $50,000 in financial assistance.

Just this past Friday, we were able to use the remainder of the funds to take 36 students from Parkdale High School on a visit to McDaniel College. Students participated in an information session about the college, campus tours, and lunch with the admissions staff and FGCB college students who attend McDaniel. We also received a special treat when a Biology professor decided to give one of our groups of students a mini lecture.

I have attached some photos so that you can see some of the students who benefited from your generosity. If there are other opportunities to apply for grants in the future, please let us know.
Thanks again!
