On a gorgeous fall day, the students of Bradbury Heights Elementary witnessed the unveiling of the beautiful mural that was painted by the youth at our Holistic Youth Summit. The mural, sponsored by Radio One and Giant food, served not only as a way for kids to give back to the community through their participation, but it also encourages other kids to give back to the community, beautifies the neighborhood and serves as a memorial to NeShante Davis, a teacher at Bradbury Heights Elementary School, and her 2-year old daughter, Chloe who were killed in February. The mural was unveiled on what would have been Chloe’s 3rd birthday. The Davis family was pleased.
